BEST FULL BODY WORKOUT! As a former D1 athlete, I have done so many different types of workouts and this trumps all of them. My body has been through a lot both as an athlete and now as a mom to three toddlers. I’ve got the usual aches and pains from years of intense training then add on top of that everything my body went through during pregnancy and postpartum. Body image became a struggle after my third pregnancy, and I wanted to feel like me again. I was eating healthy, working out, but my body still wasn’t getting to where I wanted it to be. Then family friends recommended I try StepX. After my first workout, I was hooked! It is low impact, burns a ridiculous amount of calories, and something I could do 4-5 days/week without my joints hurting - how amazing is that?! Now I’m back in clothes I wore before having kids, loving my body, and still going to StepX at least 4 days/week.

“I joined StepX with no expectations. I’ve always done strength training with little to no cardio at all and I’ve just been slowly getting back to working out after a bad injury so I was not even sure I was going to survive a class. BUT, 7 months later and 12 lbs lighter, I can honestly say StepX made me fall in love with working out all over again! Is it the music? Is it the members? Is it Keri? It’s all of the above!!! The music provides this high energy atmosphere and just makes you want to keep going. The members are always happy to come to class and very encouraging. And Keri? What can I say? She’s awesome! "After I had my second child I became very self conscious about my body, my husband saw StepX in passing and dared me to try it. I have now been training at StepX for over a year and a half and can honestly say this is what I’ve needed all along in my life. I needed someone to push me and show me what to do to get in shape because I wasn’t going to get there on my own. I never liked going to the gym and I hated doing group classes for fear of not doing the right movements or feeling judged, but Keri has completely changed my mindset on working out. She pushes me to do better, and encourages me not to give up even when I feel like I can’t move for one more second. She is an incredible trainer and loves what she does and the people she trains. Keri always motivates me and the rest of the class to do our best even when we think we can’t. The time we spend between the stepper and using the free weights is split perfectly and ensures a great balance between cardio and strength training. Every morning I show up knowing I am going to get my butt kicked and have the most fun time doing it. I laugh, I get loud, and I love working out at StepX."

“What I love about StepX is the workouts are are all varied and well constructed to include cardio, weights, resistance and endurance in a way that has you leaving each class feeling complete and excited. It’s like a really awesome ride at an amusement park where when you get off, you want to run back to the end of the line and do it again! I have NEVER felt this way about working out.
The instructors are super supportive and offer variations for all levels - from athlete to newbies like me. They lead by example and are living examples of how you can perform and look if you eat clean and work hard. They workout with each group and in doing so provide inspiration and encouragement.
Plus the atmosphere and the other members are off the hook. It’s rare in So Cal to walk into a place and feel genuine, positive, fun-loving people but at StepX it is a community filled with positive peeps and energy.

“I have been working out with Keri for over a year now and the best thing about my workouts is really wanting to be there. She doesn’t train by telling but by showing us how it’s done. She does the full workouts every time. I have never had a coach that trains with me. She makes sure I’m doing the exercises correctly so that I don’t injure myself. She shows me a moderated version because a lot of training is high intensity which is what I love. Her high energy makes the time fly and the workout enjoyable. I have never said that before when I have worked out with anyone else. Keri is so passionate about what she does and she cares about who she is training.
